The mentorship provided by LAMP can support the career development of young Latin Americans in the UK through numerous ways. It has the ability to increase their professional network, increase their awareness of an industry, improve their job applications techniques, gain experience and (most importantly) receive guidance from someone in their community who has gone through the same progress.

Having mentors who are also Latin Americans living in the UK is a very important part of LAMP, as we are constantly told by the young people having a mentors from the same community who understand their experience makes a big difference.​
